Born and shaped in Mexico City, lived for seven years in Seattle, Washington where he graduated from the University of Washington, and lived in the San Francisco Bay Area between 2007 and 2021.
He is an innovative, award-winning multimedia producer with 12 years' experience creating dynamic storytelling. Cross-cultural communicator, who conceptualizes and produces multimedia content for marketing, research, and community programs, enabling them to secure funding, reach new target audiences, and grow engagement and outreach. Highly skilled in both studio and live production settings, and manages production from ideation through execution, editing, and monitoring engagement.
Gerardo has completed multiple journalism fellowships at Stanford University, Santa Clara University, USC Center for Health Journalism's California Fellowship, and others.
MediaGFM's goal is to use videography, photography and writing as a tool for documenting events which strengthen our roots, keep our traditions alive, explore our history, and inspire the new generations to preserve our identity and to love and respect our environment.
